3. I was originally called Doodoor (sluggard) or valghvogel (disgusting bird) when I was Dutch
4. I am now called Dodo now that I am British

Sorry People, particularly Highland Sniper, for misleading you, but I have come across more info. on this question which casts doubt on some of my original clues.
I was looking for further clues to give you, and found out that some dispute exists regarding claims and info given.
