Dear members,
I was very saddened to learn of the deaths in action of four soldiers, two of them being Corps members in the IED attack in Basra on Thursday. Cpl Kris Kelly and Pte Ella Dlugosh RAMC. These two medics were doing what the Combat Med Techs do best, providing close medical support for our fellow Infantrymen.
First reports speak of them in glowing terms and with compassion.
Our ex-corps site is sending our condolences to their families and to Col Martin Toney and all Ranks of the Close Support Medical Squadron in Iraq.
May all four of them now stand easy and Rest In Piece.
