What's your Favourite/Funniest quote from a film,

I have just watched Dog Solders (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0280609/)

and when Sgt. Harry G. Wells (Sean Penn) is laying in bed with his guts spilling out he looks down at them and says "O' sausages".

I have many but one that always sticks in my mind (but never Verbatim) and is from the Blackadder Goes Forth series is

George: Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

Another BA4

Lord Flash-Heart talking to Capt Blackadder

LFH - You should treat your aircraft like you treat your woman.
BA - So you should take your plane out to dinner and a movie?
LFH - No, get in her 5 times a day and take her to heaven and back!

Heres another good one from Heartbreak Ridge (Clint Eastwood)

Gunny Highway;
I been pumping pussy since Christ was a corporal. I can tell you, the best damned poontang I ever paid for was in Da Nang. The girls where checked out daily. And we got ourself laid in a safe, orderly, proficient, military manner. That is until some suckhead writes home mama and says he dipped his wick in the Republic of South Vietnam. Then the **** hits the fan. A committee of congressmen who asshole to asshole who couldn't make a beer fart in a whirlwind, start telling your basic-ass-in-the-grass, Marine " No more shore time ". We responed in true Marine Corps fashion. We salute, do an about face, double time back to the boom-boom garbage dump where we get the clap, and the drip, and the crabs and a generally poor attitude towards the female of the speices. War is hell, boy. That's a fact!

You guys... laugh;

My favourite quote - for the moment - is from 'Call to Glory'.

'Call to Glory' is technically not a war film as such, but it's incredibly well done, showing what it's like being part of the US Air Force surveillance (made me think of Matzos!!!) and well worth watching, at least once.

The film's got everything: suspence, historical TV clips with the real JFK (i.e. no actor), death and sorrow, and good times too. In other words... reflecting real life.
Your wives and girlfriends would love it... and I believe, so would you!

My favourite quote from that film is when one of the US Air Force wives says:

"We're as much Air Force as our men. We're lifers too." sal;

Full Metal Jacket is the mother of all films for great, funny quotes, but right behind it, has to be Kelly's Heroes.

Woof, Woof!

This is a sound track about 3Mb from Full Metal Jacket
It is the bit where Gunnery Sgt. Hartman played by R. Lee Ermey gives the new recruits some hilarious grilling.

WARNING THIS IS VERY EXPLICIT AND SHOULD NOT BE HEARD BY JUNIORS

A great read. There are many and my mind seems to only remember them when another person posts them. Thanks.

solafsolafsolaf Hey Gunner I'd forgotten that bit, I'm wiping the tears of laughter off as I type, I beleive R. Lee Ermey claimed he winged most of that because script wasn't "Marine" enough.

Thanks Boblaughsol;laughsol;laughsol;
