Well a New Year is upon is all and Mi.Net is still here and stronger than ever.
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed since we arrived on the www.
To all our Vn Vets thankyou
To all our Moderators Thankyou
To all our image posters thankyou, after all thats what we are about.
To all those that have corrected me after making silly or unreasoned posts when under the influence of drink or outraged at the ignorance of others, I thankyou.

And for sticking around when the site is clearly not as active as other sites, again I thankyou all.

Since setting up this site I have found knowledge, understanding and friendship with Allies and past enemies and for this I am most thankfull.

Because of you all, registered or not, MI.Net has become a truly wonderful Military resource.

I hope that 2007 brings to you all everything that you desire and that you rightly deserve.

You are my friends and my comrades and im glad that we can honour and share the bravery, honour, sacrifice and true grit of Military past and present.

Semper Fidelis

Thank you for you greeting Bombardier. But without your site I would also not found these new comrades.

Bombardier, you give respect to all and therefore you and your site are respected. It's not about the quantity of the posts on here, it's about the quality of them.

Bombardier, you are by far the best site moderator I've come across on the Internet. You and your fellow moderators make this site a safe place for all, members and visitors, whether civilian men and women, serving personnel, or veterans with PTSD or similar ailments and disabilities, and even children/teenagers posting on here.

You deserve a big thank you for starting this site, and for continuing to keep it to such a high standard.

I'd also like to extend my thank you to all fellow site members for behaving so respectfully and in such a mature yet 'playful' (?? 'childish' or 'funny' sounds wrong doesn't it... you all know what I mean, I hope  ) way to other members. If there was ever a place to make genuine friends on the internet, this is the right place to find them.
