Today it is Mother's Day in the United States. It's a day that everyone remembers their mother's by sending/giving a Mother's Day card; sending/giving her flowers or some type of gift; paying her a visit; giving her a telephone call; serving her breakfast in bed; taking her to breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner; or just fondly remembering her.

Tell them you LOVE them, boys and girls. We don't have them forever.

My mother has passed away, you should treasure them while their around to do so. :P

My mum died 15 years ago and it is with the greatest sadness that my mother in law (no jokes please) died on Friday morning. My wife flew to Moscow and Rostov on Don Friday evening, leaving me to cat sit and get drunk!
Bless all mothers, keep them with us and honour them.
Happy Mother's day to every mother, especially mine. Pardon getting maudlin, it's the wine talking. :oops:

I'm truly sorry for your and your wife's loss. My condolences to the both of you and the rest of the family.

I just got off the phone with my Mom, and she's doing well for 75yrs. old. She lives in the Seattle area in Washington state.

Zofo, My wife and I would also like to add our condolences on you and your wife's loss. My own mother passed on at the tender young age of 89 in August of '91 just after I returned from Desert Storm. I do know how it is to lose a mother.

Please accept my condolences on your mother-in- laws passing.
My mother died some years ago and it's still tough and I miss her a lot.


Yesterday was a good day though for my wife. Our two sons surprised her by coming for mothers day..
They flew in on Friday night and she was thrilled( as was I ).
