This is a quote from a book written by LGen Romeo Dallaire "Shake hands with the devil" (see my signature), but this was something he was told by some religious man in his youth... I obviously cannot remember exactly, but the quote rings true for almost all military personnel and their families that I've ever met and that my family has known.
