View Full Version : Mystery German half-track

Hello

I have a couple of pictures showing an unidentified half-track vehicle ploughing in Germany (see below). It looks like it could be on trial with the German military c.WWI, and may even be a converted truck or car. It is very unusual though because it only has a single rear track. All attempts to identify it have so far failed, so I would really appreciate any leads that anyone can provide.

Many thanks

Hi david
The closest I could find were as follows

FRN 2 Polish Halftrack

C4P Polish halftrack

Model 34 polish halftrack

Remember that Farmers and such like would modify ex military vehicles and as such they would be rendered almost impossible to identify from a picture.

It is also possible that one modification was to remove one side of the track or move them closer together, this would give the impression that it only has one section of track ??

Hope this helps solthum
