Today is the holiday i hold the most admiration for. Today is a holiday comparable to Christmas,Easter,and Thanksgiving. Today we Honor the Brave men and women who left home to serve our country here and abroad. We honor those who fell on the wastelands of world war one, the men who lived first hand the Attack at Pearl Harbor, Those who fought in the skies over europe, the men who fell on the beaches of many a island in the Pacific, driving back the japanese. We honor the sailors and aviators who went heead first into the hell at midway, wake island. Iwo Jima, Okinawa, The Phillipenes. The men Who flatend Nazi Germany with their bombs, The fighter jocks who let hitler know that he was on the hangmans noose. The Airborne boys who fell behind german lines before D-day to give the germans hell. The men who gave thier lives getting on the beach, and those who got there, and began the end of world war II. We honor the heros of Korea, the "Forgoten War" but for many the war is burned into them. To our Vietnam Vets who tregged through the Jungle, finding booby traps, VC, and danger everywhere. To the Chooper riders, who risked coming into the fire to rescue the wounded or bring supplies to the troops. To the medics who risked thier own lives to keep death away from thier buddies.To the Marines, who were the first to draw and loose blood, to the Pilots, dropping bombs, providing cover for thier downed comrades, and giving isolated bases constant relief. To the heros of Khe San and Ia Drang. To our Forces in Desert storm, who's lightning push left Sadams "Elite" Forces destroyed and broken. And to our Men and Women In Operation Iraqi Freedom, who are fighting to keep peace alive. From the bottom of my heart and the Men and Women Of America, I salute you. sal;
Thank You and May God be with you Whereevr you are.
