I got to thinkin, while reading the movie forum, about color in the movies.
And how special effects are taking over movies.
When I was a kid most movies were black and white. The classic movies like "The Maltese Falcon" or "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" were built around stories with good polot lines. Even when I see em today the lack of color isn't even noticed. But my kids would see that right off and conclude that they wouldn't like it just because it was black and white.

Yea, I agree Drywall.
But do you not find that if you're scanning for movies, one of the first things you look for is whether it's in colour!! Strange.

Which brings up an interesting point about Band of Brothers, it seemed to be neither colour or B/W but worked very well. Apparently the producers thought that it would be more realistic toned down because people are used to seeing WW2 in B/W.
