solthum It appears from what is left of it, to be a "THUD" Republic F-105 ThunderChief. Where is it at now.

Dont think it's a ThunderChief tails wrong, and the engine intakes are wrong.

I think that is the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger

Im not sure this is the same aircraft, the nose is longer on the F-102 (see picture) and the air intakes are different ?

sorry to be argumenitive but could it be the f-106 delta dart? they are both pretty similar, but it could be an F-102.

Its mad how these things end up, Just think of all the effort put into building it, The training to fly it, and then it ends up rusting in the bushes 10/20ish years later.

Half or most of them dont even see action or havent been scrambled for a particular situation.

It's a TF-102 Delta Dagger. We have a fully restored one at the Pima Air Museum here in Tucson. The two seats were side by side so it looks fat!
