Well it's old, like most gems are, but Microsofts Flight simulator 2004 is still a great sim. With over 23,000 realisticly modeled airports worldwide, chances are you can fly a Cessna 172 over your city, or take a Boeing 777 to Hawaii. The set is called Century of flight, because you can re-enact some of the most famous flights in history, even the first powered flight at Kittyhawk in the Wright Flyer. Has over 24 aircraft, like the Spirit of ST.Louis, DC-3, And the Vickers Vimy. The game allows you to use airline names to tac on your ATC callsign, and you can Join one of hundereds of virtual airlines online.The game features Virtual cockpits which give a 360 degree view and allow you to realistically operate switches, dials and All the radios of a real aircraft. The ATC and traffic are well made giving an authentic flying experiance. The graphics are also well played out, even showing the tiniest rivet on the plane. For the aviation fan who wants to expand his 'flleet', many websites offer freeware aircraft including airliners, amphibians, and military. Plus, there is a purchaseable expansion that allows you to us Aircraft carriers. Lastly, for those who cant find their way, the game features a life like Garmin GPS system. This is my first review and i hope it makes you wanna try MS FS2004 CF if you haven't already!sal;
