NZ war memorial marks a 'special bond'

Details have been unveiled of a New Zealand war memorial at Hyde
Park Corner in London, to be dedicated on Armistice Day, 11 November.

Called Southern Strand, it is made up of 16 cross-shaped vertical bronze
standards - some up to 4.5m high, and all decorated with words, patterns and
small sculptures representing aspects of New Zealand life.
