First time I read this article I was really impressed with the determination, drive and desire this man showed in joining the Navy as a Chaplain. Whenever I re-read this article, I'm just as impressed.
After 25 years as a civilian Catholic priest, he was not fit and not in the best of health. All he had was his dream of joining the Navy. And despite all odds, he succeeded, here is his story:
