I have had a few emails asking what these icons actually mean/do.

Edit and quote are self explanatory however the 2 icons to the right need some explaining.
The first Icon to the right of quote is a multi quote button, what that does is allow the user to quote a number of posts made by others in one click.
To do this you simply need to click the icon on every post you wish to quote, then click the post reply button (do not click the quick quote button as the multiquote will not function).
Once the post reply button has been clicked you will be presented with your message field, already completed with all the posts you wish to quote, all that is needed then is your reply to each quote (after the [/quote] tags by the way).
The second button to the right of the quote button is simply a quick reply button.
You will see a set of scales, this is the user reputation function, this is where you can rate a persons post, either good or bad and give them a pat on the back or a punch in the face for that particular post. this effects the little green squares that you see to the right of a post, the more good reputation they are given the more green squares they get and the more bad they get then they will lose the greens and go into red.
Now then the red and yellow cards
This is a brand new function and can only be used by Admins or moderators. This is the infraction function and allows admins and mods to penalise members for pre defined infractions. For example an infraction that I have created involved the blatant insulting of another member.. this will give any user 5 infraction points, if a user gets 20 infraction points then they will automatically be moved to a usergroup with vastly reduced functionality and they will lose some of the functionality that they once enjoyed.
Point to note : I doubt that this will have to be used much at present. sal;
Further note: the red and yellow cards on the pic above will only be seen by admins and mods however if you are warned you will be given a yellow card which you and everybody else will see and if you are penalised you will see a red.
