I’m writing a story and I need information on modern day sea planes, Are they still used today? And if so, have you any idea where I can find information on the subject.

What I’m after is a plane that will fly 3000 miles without refuelling and carrying a two ton load as well as four passengers. As it’s for a book the statistics have to be correct.
