I found this Photograph in a Open-day Programe for the R.A. At Home (Woolwich) the Programe was dated 13th of July 1963, so I take it that the photograph dates from that date.

So can i ask if any Gunners recognise anybody here.

Sorry I can’t help but,

In the bottom left hand corner of the table is the old type helmet worm by soldiers of yester year. It was this type of helmet that causes today’s solders to remove the cap and belt when on a charge. As the sword was attached to the belt and the spike on the helmet could be used as a weapon.

Silky
