Hi can anyone out there help me with pics or info on alvis saracen apc's used by the south african army ,i am restoreing a saracen and would be grateful for any help with unit markings etc .

Hi saracenapc!

I believe the SADF had circa 250 Saracen's pre 1977 - when it was then replaced by the Ratel.

I have never seen pictures of a Saracen in SADF make-up, but i will have a look and see what i can find...
