I have aquired image hosting software which I have yet to install. The software works exactly like other hosting services such as Photobucket.

We will have two plans available, a Free or Liteplan and a Paid or Platinum plan.

The software will aloow you to upload any image and will automatically provide you with the code which only needs copying and pasting into any forum / Ebay auction etc and the image will display.

I have not yet decided on the differences between the Liteplan and the Platinum but it will be something like

Liteplan - Unlimited photo uploads / 10Mb storage space / 150 Mb Bandwidth / max image size 700 x 600 and it will be free.

Platinum plan - Unlimited photo uploads / 50 Mb storage space / 500 Mb Bandwidth / max image size 900 x 1500 and will cost $3.50 per month via paypal

These allowances are not set in stone, just an a guidline so you can see how it works.

You will have total control over your images, that means you can delete them etc

You will also have the facility to email links to images to friends and familiy and create galleries to share with them.

I hope to have this online in the next couple of weeks.

Let me know what you think unworthy; solthum

PS - the paid version isnt aimed at making me rich, its a neccesity to fund this increasingly expensive site and to enable me to continue the upgrades and employ new services like this one.

Thanks for reading

If you would like to have a reliable Image host, to host any image you like (not only Military) please join here for free (http://www.militaryimages.net/imagehost/index.php)

Two packages are available Free and paid, you can see the difference in the packages on the Home page above.

The free package carries a small textual advert showing that the images are hosted by www.militaryimages.net (http://www.militaryimages.net) .

Like this

I have made the link open in a new window so you can have the image hosting open at the same time as the site you wish to post your images on. (Y)

Point to note.
Once you have uploaded your photos and infact at the time of doing so, you will be given the opportunity to change the file name to something more suitable.
Please do not change file names after you have hotlinked the image on a website or forum !, if you do this you effectively change the URL and the image will not be displayed.Instead you will see an Image not Found Icon.

Many Thanks
