Cannot load attachments

Guys you need to make a plan with the restriction on the size of files that we're alowed to upload to the site. I tried to send a picture and it would not allow me to upload.

The max size for an attachment I think you will find is 97kb.

If you want to place your imagery into your post, put your images onto to a site like Photobucket.com and then link them to the post.

Hi mate,
as Matzos says the max size in Kb's is 97Kb. If you wish to post anything bigger then a good idea is photobucket or one of the many other good free image hosts.
Please bear in mind that the image width should not disrupt the layout of the site...if it does, it will be deleted or reduced.

This site is webspace and Bandwidth intensive so we have to make every little adjustment we can to keep the usage of Bandwidth and Webspace down. That said we are not without plenty of both, but I think you know what im getting at.

In the future I will be introducing a free image hosting service, this will mean you can post pictures into this forum and any other.

The images that reside on our servers are currently blocked for hotlinking but again in the near future they will be allowed to be hotlinked to. The images in the galleries will have a watermark stating something like

"Hosted by www.militaryimages.net"
