I would like to know the way in Worl war 2 tanks or armoured carrier personell displayed
regimental arms badges on the combat dress.

Valmara69, if it's British insignia you would like, perhaps these may help. They are details from the Osprey Men-at-Arms book, No.187.
The first is a Sergeant of the 43rd Royal Tank Regiment, as part of 3rd Division, 1942-43, when it was a 'mixed' division of infantry and armour:

The next is a Sergeant of the 13th/18th Royal Hussars, Normandy 1944. This was one of the few units who wore the regimental flash on the sleeve of their denim tank suit and stencilled on the tank crew helmet:
