A free shootem-up game written to train Americas army, free download.
Americas army (http://www.americasarmy.com/)
Anybody played this yet? It looks pretty hot.
I have actually downloaded this before and got into the shooting range, but on exiting the game, then returning at a later date, there were some problems progressing any further, so I ended up uninstalling it. Looks VG though and I might try it again.

I played it when it was first released in 2003 and again when they released the Special Forces add-on last year.
Enjoyed it in the beginning then all the hackers and their ilk started playing and desecrated the game....:mad:
Interestingly though (this should interest Ratel), there is a South African based clan called 32Bat that plays AA quite seriously ... see link for more details:

Anybody play Ghost Recon? (Original, not Advanced Warfighter?)
Anybody play Ghost Recon? (Original, not Advanced Warfighter?)
Yeah but both advanced warfighters are MUTCH better than the original. Also have you noteced that the dates on the games are very strange becuse the one set in north korea "first contact 2007" was the exact year that the US and korea started getting more agressive tword one enother and the game came out in what 2004or2005 I just thougt that was strange.laugh;

For all you guys out there that like gaming, I have found a terrific game which is used by the military for training. It's called Steel Beasts Pro PE.(personal edition.) I do have to warn you; #1- It's expensive($125.00 American), #2-It's extremely hard to beat. On the plus side-You have a tutorial, a tank range, and you can create your own scenarios. You need at least 1.5 gigs of ram. For your money, you get a CD, a software dongle, a users manual, and one heck of a game. For a trial, go to Steel Beasts.com and download the demo. BTW, You also have to have a good joystick. You have a complete range of vehicles to use.
