Sited at the former RAF fighter airfield at East Fortune, to the NE of Edinburgh, the SMF is a marvellous exhibit dedicated to the history of flight in Scotland from the very early days of Pilcher, the glider builder, right up to Concorde and beyond. A very good museum with extremely close access to the exhibits.
