Many years ago, I came across Jenny Simpson's book "Biting the Bullet". It's the auto-biography by a woman who married into the SAS. It's a very honest account by a wife who has her head and heart in the right place.
It also describes events in the SAS and how the people behind 'the headlines' lived through these events.

This book is rather 'old', but there are not that many books written by wives of any military out there. It's in fact the only one I've come across.
