An American soldier boards an English train for the first time and looks for a seat.
Up and down the train he walks, but his only chance is a seat on which a pekinese dog is sitting beside it's owner, a posh English lady.
''Scuse me Ma'am', says the G.I., but could you move this dog so that I can sit down?'
The woman is astounded, 'Americans, so brash, discourteous, and demanding,' she says. Our G.I. is embarressed, and moves on down the train to look again for a seat, but to no avail.
He returns, and again asks the woman to move the dog, but she just looks at him and says, 'Americans, loud, ignorant, and full of their own importance.'
The poor guy loses his temper at this outrage, opens the window and throws out the dog, then sits down.
The woman is of course furious, and appeals to her fellow passengers for support.
A bowler hatted Englishman in the corner says to the G.I., 'I don't know about all the other things she said about Americans, but you certainly aren't very selective, you chucked the wrong bitch out of the window!!!
