View Full Version : My Movie Clips
Recently found out that I have Windows Movie Maker on my PC, so I've been experimenting. Here's my first efforts, one from Faslane Fair, of Royal Marines:-

and one of some Naval vessels involved in 'Exercise Neptune Warrior' earlier this year:-

Hopefully, I can improve the quality of any future ones! :o

WOW Very good, love the RM's one, Love the background music (we Jacobite's)use to have this by Rod Stewart.
the only recommendation is that for the long distance shots you get a mono/tripod to eliminate camera shake.
all in all a very good first attempt.

great vids mate bou;
(Y) Excellent videos Reloader (Y)
Many thanks for the kind comments guys, and you're right Droney, I'll have to think about getting something to stabilise the camcorder if I do any more in future. By the way, the singer of 'Ye Jacobites' was Eddi Reader, from her album of Burns' songs, which is excellent.
But why is it that the images look great on the camcorder LCD screen or the TV, yet when uploaded to a PC, the quality changes so much, is there something I'm missing? :confused:

its all to do with the way TV's display an image, basicly in the U.K. the Tv display is made up of 625 lines (raster lines) and a computer display is variable from 640 to 2048 (on my graphics card) so the computers display is better than a tv's
Thanks Droney, now I know that it's not my fault! :o
