I am very aware of how we all like to partake in a quiz or two. It adds to the fun of our site aswell as tests your own knowledge.
As such I am considering installing a quiz feature like no other I have found on the net, infact it has taken me a long time to find somebody who can write such a program.
The program will enable me to set up unlimited quizes on our site and in a dedicated area. users will be able to test their knowledge in all types of test. eg. yes/no answers - multiple choice - and more. The questions will either be textual or even based on an image.
The results will be displayed in a score chart for each quiz and will display a rank, score and chosen username. It will not be limited to registered members, anybody will be able to take part.
Furthermore, I will accept any submitted bank of questions from you all (including unregistered users) and will name the quiz after you i.e Eagledrivers sectional tank quiz or Drone_pilots Artillery quiz.
The functionality of the system is unbelievable and may be able to do things I havent yet thought of.
It is going to be expensive, somewhere around $500, but I am in negotiations with the company at the moment.
I hope it comes off, it will be a great addition to our site. bou; army;
Oh yeah, one more thing, any quiz can be setup to be TIMED, just to make things a little more difficult. Users can have as many attempts as possible but the system will be setup so that the answers for incorrect questions will not be displayed Hee Hee clwn;

That would be great Eagle, even the smallest amount would help.
Once purchased and online/functioning just for the piece of mind of anybody who donated, I will show proof of purchase and point them in the direction of the web site/company that produces the software.
As I have always said, I will fund this site 100% if necessary, but all donations are welcome to ease the burden ,so to speak.
I do not make a habit of requesting donations, but those that I get are always very very greatfully recieved. :)
Thanks again buddy. (Y)

As soon as you get all the details, let me know something, Andy, and I'll get the ball rolling on my end.;);)

Will do buddy, just waiting for some answers to a few technical questions and then we should be on our way.
They are writing an addition to the quiz software which will produce a rank chart for each quiz, which will show the ranks of all entering and for each quiz.
For example if somebody enters a quiz under the name 'Eagledriver' and gets 25 out of 25 correct the results will be something like
Name--------Rank--------score--------%
Eagledriver---General--------25/25------100
As I said it will be open to all and not require any registration.
I think that multiple choice and true/false questions will be the best format to use initially until I get my head around the software.
Thanks again mate for being interested sal;

Ok all paid for now and it is being produced as I type. It should be online early next week.
Sooooooo, if anybody has anybanks of questions they would like to see used, just let me have them by email.
If you want multiple choice answers please include all the alternatives
e.g
Q. who delivers presents at christmas ?
1. Santa Clause 2.Bombardier 3 Eagledriver 4.Drone_pilot
Clearly in this case the answer would be Eagledriver camo;
You can also have one word answers or true/false
Images are also possible and Im hoping to be able to find enough military silouettes such as the one attached.
Im sure you all remember the sectional picture quizzies well they are possible too.
Let me know if you want it timed or not, common sense will have to prevail when setting a time limit.
Anyways dudes, get yer finking caps on.
Look forward to seeing your questions and getting them online

Further Update !
The quiz feature will be delayed slightly, I am informed that the software will be ready and online in two to three weeks.
Im sure it will be worth the wait.
I have started to compile some quizzes while we are waiting.
Thanks for your patience army;

Sorry, guys. I'm gonna be off the air for a while. I was in an automobile wreck last night coming home from work. Sustained a fractured sternum which is quite painful so I'll be gone for a week or three. :o :o :o

Thanks, guys, for the thoughts. Doc put me on pain meds and antibiotics and bed rest. It's not as painful now as it was but I'll be off work for approx. 6 to 8 weeks. The good side is I won't miss payday. Sort of like an unpopular vacation. :mad: :mad:

Ok the quiz feature is here. I havent set it up on the links yet but you can play with a couple of quizzes that I have installed.
I have a few tweaks to do in the background but I would be very pleased to hear your comments.
you can find the quiz feature here www.militaryimages.net/quiz/ (http://www.militaryimages.net/quiz/)
You will need to register again but you can use the same details as you used to register on our main site. You will be sent an activation link via the email you provide
I have not yet placed our header on the software so it will look a little out of place.
Remember its in its early days so dont be tooooo critical.
I am open for question submissions if anybody has any to submit, and dont forget they can included images. :rolleyes:

Thanks Eagle
PS just so everybody is aware, we will be intergrating the user registration with the one on our main site. This will mean that if you are already registered with MilitaryImages.Net main site you will not have to register again, it also means that you will be able to navigate effortlessly from forum/galleries to the quizzes without having to login again
Thanks for all your patience throughout this upgrade :rolleyes: :eek:
I've just got rejected from the quizz bit - wrong log in details. It rejected me effortlessly! Unless I'm being dim (lots of possibilities there!!) what do I need to be doing???:confused:
