After being joined by one platoon of B/1/506 Inf. on 4/4/69 and fighting to the first line of bunkers, on the morning of 4/5/69 the rest of Bravo Company joined Delta Company and the Recon Platoon and we assaulted and overran the unit of the 6th NVA Regiment encountered on 4/3/69

Four Currahees of D/1/506 were KIA
