TSR 2 photographed a number of years ago at Duxford

You only have to look at this aircraft to see that she was the hottest thing on the planet at the time. So why was she scrapped.

I am sorry to say I think it was because of pressure from the US government. She was so advanced for her time.

I agree she was a gorgeous and yet deadly looking aircraft

did any prototype TSR is preserved in museum or all was scrapped?

The museums at RAF Cosford and Duxford both TSR2's on display

I don't think I've ever seen this type of plane? Is it a bomber?
