A Scottish soldier who was seriously injured in a bomb attack in Iraq is reported to be undergoing treatment at a military hospital in Kuwait.
The man, who has not yet been named by the Ministry of Defence, was hurt in the city of Basra on Thursday.
The roadside explosion killed one of his colleagues, who has been named as 20-year-old Marc Ferns, 20, from Glenrothes in Fife.
Both men were serving with the 1st Battalion of the Black Watch.
