A teenage soldier has been released on bail after bomb-making equipment was found at a house in Neath, south Wales.
South Wales Police were alerted after a member of the public contacted them just before 1600 BST on Wednesday to report the material.
People living near the house in Cadoxton Terrace were evacuated and roads closed as police called in bomb squad officers just after 1800 BST.
A small home-made device was later made safe.
A 17-year-old, who was arrested on Wednesday night, has been released pending further inquiries.
