I have recently received a number of emails from sites where i have posted our prescence, they ask me not to "blatantly advertise our site" on their sites. Some ask nicely others well..not too nicely. I guess my point is this, the requests were sent from some large money making sites with tens of thousands of members, are we a threat?, do they see the potential for our site and are worried about there own members defecting?. My opinion of people advertising their site on ours is exactly this, go ahead and do it, this is a Military site and we are all on the same side (I hope). I mean we are all Military people of every kind and we are trying to keep the Brotherhood alive, so whats the big deal.
I am actually encouraged by these requests and hope you will be too.

Listen up other Military web sites, GET WITH THE PROGRAM we are all on the same side no matter what country you are from. :mrgreen:

And now I will step off my soap box. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I am a member of several sites, some with annual fees some free. Most of them are military sites, and I wander from one to the other, no big deal!
I enjoy them all for differing reasons, variety being the spice of life etc., and owe my 'loyalty' to no one site.

You must have them worried mate! :mrgreen:

Yes buddy it would seem so. I am like you, I surf the web and get stuck into as many military sites as possible. I love to read about peoples experiences and times in the military. We have a lot of great chaps from the states who tell us all about their times in Vietnam, its fascinating stuff. One of our earliest members (Derrick Stephenson) has told us some of what his father got upto on HMS Sheffield (The Shiny Sheff) during WW2 again wonderful reading, lots of photos uploaded of HMS Sheffield in the gallery. Anyway worried! they should be, this is a hobby for me and I fit it in between working crazy shifts, just goes to show what can be done with some effort and the support of others. :mrgreen: sal; army;
