Hi Guys - most of you will know from my gallery that I model British soldiers in 1/6th scale - highly detailed, dressed in proper fabric uniforms, webbing etc.
My query here is pretty similar to the one in the NI section - I am looking for specific accounts of what kit was used by any of you in relation to the unit you were in, i.e. who wore standard DPMs, who got issued windproofs, cold weather gear (parka etc.), who used bergens (& what type), who had to put up with the 58 large pack.
There is much BS talked about thisd kind of thing, and as a perfectionist, I insist on getting these details "Spot On" as I hope you will see from my pix.
