So, that puts you in about 8th grade, eh? I don't know much about CAP. What kind of stuff do you get to do? Is it just boys, or girls too? Your motto is like the Army Rangers-"Rangers Lead The Way."
There's another member on here that lives in NC [Rotorwash], maybe you're near each other.
I hope you enjoy the site. You can learn alot of stuff if you're interested.

Well its summer vaction right now. so i'll be in the 9th grade when school starts up. Well we have three main missions in the CAP Cadet Programs, ES Missions, and Aerospace education. Im training to get GTM (Ground Team Member) qualified. And soon will start my training for R3(Ranger 3rd class) Its a highly trained GTM.

Yeah, it's summer vacation out here, too. Are you doing summer school? What kind of stuff does an R3 do? Do you get to go to Air Force bases or NASA facilities? You didn't tell me if it's for boys and girls. I assume you're a young man.

Hey there buddy welcome to our site, im sure you will enjoy yourself here and like frisco said you will learn a lot of stuff here, especially from your American brothers. I am one of your distant British cousins so I wont be able to tell you much about the US military but you might find some of the stuff I have to say interesting. Anyway as I said welcome

Its for both. So far i've only been to two Air Force Bases, and no NASA yet. A R3 does what a basic GTM does plus more. You learn to rock climb at Hawk Mt, and survive in the wilderness longer then a basic GTM can. You spend 9 days at Hawk Mt Ranger School, and the only bath you take it usually when it rains :D . Actually Bombardier i have some British in me :D
