Photo Subscription
If you click receive e mail updates which is just above the image you are looking at, the photo will be displayed in your profile (see image), you will then recieve notification by email of any comments posted to that image
Gallery Subscription
If when you are in a gallery you click 'SUBSCRIBE TO GALLERY' at the bottom left of the screen you will then be notified by email of any new photos posted to that gallery.
Photo and Gallery subscriptions can be cancelled in your profile
