I only know what I read about SF - I've had them work against us when Iwas in Germany and boy did they do us!
There are a lot of websites out there with all sorts of nonsense written on them as well as some very good ones.
The unit I served with was designated "Prone to Capture" because of our very forward role in any given battlefield. According to our SOPs, the only people that would have been forward from us were OPs from the Honourable Artillery Company and the SAS.
We did lots of Escape and Evasion training and most of our instructors had either done the all arms course in the German Alps, SAS selection (some had passed, some had failed) or in-house training. The exercises were very real to me and very hard indeed. Interrogation could be mind numbing but luckily there was no strong arm stuff.
Does anyone have any anecdotes to tell of any SF, prone to capture or indeed anything along these lines?
