Police in Armagh have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a soldier in England more than a decade ago.
Sergeant Michael Newman was shot in the head as he walked to his car from an Army careers office in Derby on 14 April 1992.

As we all know an arrest is simply that, it does not always follow that any prosecution will be brought.
If the man arrested is found guilty at least the family of Sergeant Michael Newman will have some closure after all these years.

Man charged with soldier's murder
A man has been charged with the murder of an Army recruitment officer in Derby 12 years ago.
The man was arrested in Armagh, Northern Ireland, at 1130 GMT on Wednesday.
Sergeant Michael Newman, 34, was shot in the head as he left an Army recruitment office in Derby in April 1992.
The man was scheduled to appear at Chesterfield Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon.
Two police officers escorted the suspect from Northern Ireland to Derbyshire.
